Ohio State offers a large number of outstanding online course offerings via the Columbus campus, including courses in environmental science, calculus, political science, psychology, social work, and statistics. Ohio State’s online course offerings allow students the flexibility of taking well designed, rigorous courses from any location in Ohio without needing to travel to Columbus.
To see an up-to-date list of available courses, as well as more course details, follow these steps:
- Go to classes.osu.edu
- Type a space in the search bar and hit return/enter
- Using the active filters select the following and the list will automatically populate:
- Term: Select the term you want to view
- Campus: Select Columbus
- Instruction Mode: Distance Learning
Current students may also find online course availability through Class Search (SIS) on BuckeyeLink (using the same search criteria as above.)
Descriptors listed in Course/Class Attributes or within the Course Description indicate:
GE: Course fulfills OSU's General Education Requirements
Level One: Course allowed to be taken by CCP students regardless of amount of college credit hours earned
Prereq: Course has specific qualifications that must be fulfilled before a student can enroll (check course description for details)
Not Eligible: Course is not covered under College Credit Plus rules and can not be paid for by state CCP funds
