All Academy Student Grades and Schedules Are on the OSU Counselor Portal

Ohio State will share student information with participating school districts only through our Counselor Portal. You can set up multiple user accounts for your school to gain access to student application statuses, class schedules, and final grades.

Because of OSU's Institutional Data Policy, we are unable to provide grades through email.

OSU Counselor Portal Instructions

If you do not already have an account, please set up your sponsored guest account.  PLEASE NOTE: Every user will need to request access in the summer each academic year as part of the University sponsored guest account verification process.

Each staff member who would like access (Counselors, Registrars, CCP Coordinators) can set up their account by following these instructions:

  1. Navigate to the OSU Counselor Portal site (https://hscounselors.osu.edu/)
  2. Click the “Request login credentials” button to complete your registration form.

  3. Within 2-3 business days, you will receive an email from the OSU IT Service Desk (itservicedesk@osu.edu) "Information Needed – OSU Sponsored Guest Request” that will walk you through the steps of activating your OSU username and setting your password.

    NOTE: If you do not receive this email with 2-3 business days, you can follow these steps as they will complete the same action as the aforementioned email:

  • Email osas-counselorportalhelp@osu.edu to find out your Ohio State Username if you don't already know it.
  • Go to https://my.osu.edu/
  • Select “Activate Now”
  • Select “I Need an Activation Code”
  • Enter your username, first name, last name, and DOB
  1. After you have activated your username/password at my.osu.edu, you will need to wait 2-3 business days (part of the University verification process to best protect student data) before you will be able to access student data. 

     5. Log back into the portal at https://hscounselors.osu.edu/ 

  • Click the red Portal Login button
  • Navigate to the “Student Reports” tab to view your student information
